Hello Everyone, This Is Michael The Traveling Trucker. I had to write about this story. We all need motivation, love, and inspiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"PENCIL<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Remember the No. 2 pencil? A skinny, yellow tool that determined your future?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As students, we were always given a No. 2 pencil to answer questionnaires in class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why a No. 2 Pencil?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The number represents the hardness of the metal. The lower the number, the softer the metal. Early machines that scanned and scored tests couldn\u2019t detect marks made by hard pencil metal. Marks from by No. 3 and 4 pencils resulted in erroneous results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No. 1 pencils were too soft and smudged on the tests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, No. 2 pencils were the Goldilocks answer \u2013 just right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5 Lessons of the Pencil Maker<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There is a parable about a Pencil Maker which encourages you to know that you are a special person, with unique God-given talents and abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just before the Pencil Maker put the pencils in their box he told them five things:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Everything you do will always leave a mark.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. You can always correct the mistakes you make.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. What is important is what\u2019s inside of you.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. In life you will undergo painful sharpenings, which will only make you better and useful.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. To be the best pencil you must allow yourself to be held and guided by the hand that holds you.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in God\u2019s hand and allow others to access you for the many gifts you possess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Get Your Lead Out<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Only you can fulfill the purpose which you were born to accomplish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Never allow yourself to stay discouraged and think that your life is insignificant and cannot be changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like the pencil, always remember that the most important part of who you are, is what\u2019s inside of you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, get your lead out!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
