The Content Marketers Curation Checklist

A checklist is a very important tool for Content Marketers. It provides a process to double check your work. This ensures that you are always providing content to your readers of high quality. A checklist also ensures that all your SEO settings are correct to ensure a better ranking with search engines.

After writing your blog post, go through the following checklist:

  • Have you specified a target keyword?
  • Does the keyword appear in the post three times (including a H2)?
  • Are all images titled correctly (e.g. “Page Keywords” not “image00.png”)?
  • Do all your images have “Image courtesy of …” source acknowledgment?
  • Have you linked externally to the articles source?
  • Have you linked externally to the articles author bio?
  • Have you checked your post for grammar, punctuation, and spelling?
  • Have you asked another member of the team to proofread your post?

An excellent tool for checking your grammar and spelling is an online tool called Grammarly.
