WORDS- How To Use Them

Hello Everyone, This Is Michael The Traveling Trucker. Today’s adventure is WORDS. We all use them. If you think about it, we think in pictures from what is being spoken to us. If I say orange, cut in half and wonderful citrus smell. What did you just see?

When we read, we think in pictures. When someone tells us a story of their vacation, we see pictures. In business, we think in pictures.

The words we use are important to get people the right picture. While it is important that we respect everyone we meet in our lives, it is equally important that we perform such deeds that can help us earn respect. Respect is the greatest asset that a person earns through his behavior and activities done for the office, home, or for the community. Our pictures must show respect, value, and well being. We want people to have a good picture of our business. When we use words like-tools, coop, lead capture page, landing page, autoresponder, we want people to have the right picture so they can use them correctly.

Using negative words still gives us pictures. These picture never give us the result we want or need. You’ll never make it, your no good, your a loser, nobody likes you…….. The list goes on for ever.

It is important that parents teach their kids to respect their elders, grandparents, teachers, their fellow friends and everyone living in their surroundings. Only then we will be able to build a positive society. Nowadays, people lose temper on small issues and indulge into altercations which turn out to be violent sometimes. If children are taught to forgive negligible matters and learn to respect the people around, they would grow up to be happier children.

I think you are awesome and you have the talent to build your business. I see you have goals on a white board. I see you put up a video. I see there are 10 steps in taking your business from a to z. I love the pictures of words and how they affect my life. My wife- husband-children-grandkids-grandparents- Do you see you just thought in a picture.

Hello Everyone, This Is Michael The Traveling Trucker. I had to write about this story. We all need motivation, love, and inspiration.

Remember the No. 2 pencil? A skinny, yellow tool that determined your future?

As students, we were always given a No. 2 pencil to answer questionnaires in class.

Why a No. 2 Pencil?

The number represents the hardness of the metal. The lower the number, the softer the metal. Early machines that scanned and scored tests couldn’t detect marks made by hard pencil metal. Marks from by No. 3 and 4 pencils resulted in erroneous results.

No. 1 pencils were too soft and smudged on the tests.

So, No. 2 pencils were the Goldilocks answer – just right.

5 Lessons of the Pencil Maker

There is a parable about a Pencil Maker which encourages you to know that you are a special person, with unique God-given talents and abilities.

Just before the Pencil Maker put the pencils in their box he told them five things:

1. Everything you do will always leave a mark.

2. You can always correct the mistakes you make.

3. What is important is what’s inside of you.

4. In life you will undergo painful sharpenings, which will only make you better and useful.

5. To be the best pencil you must allow yourself to be held and guided by the hand that holds you.

You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in God’s hand and allow others to access you for the many gifts you possess.

Get Your Lead Out

Only you can fulfill the purpose which you were born to accomplish.

Never allow yourself to stay discouraged and think that your life is insignificant and cannot be changed.

Like the pencil, always remember that the most important part of who you are, is what’s inside of you.

Hello Everyone This Michael The Traveling Trucker. Today’s Adventure-The Road Less traveled. On the internet highway, there are untold miles of space. Each of us tries to carve out our niche, traveling a road most avoid. WHY?

It takes a lot of work, time, and investment. The investment covers buying upgrades, tools, advertising, in some cases a domain name. Buying a done for you system gives you all the tools to start and begin operating a Home Base Business.

On this journey, I have had mentors show me the correct pathways. Tell me to avoid certain twists in the road. Given me a road map, getting from point A to point B.

Scripts for Calling Your Prospects

Introduce yourself.

First, say your name and which company you work for. You need to sound confident and energetic. I can’t tell you how many cold calls I listen to that begin with, “This is mlkjdkfj from mnxcmvn.”

The prospect goes, “What? Who??” Right from the start, the call is going poorly.

You don’t need to yell your greeting, but you do need to articulate.

After you say, “This is [name] from [company],” pause.

This is hard for cold callers. They want to jump straight into their pitch. But I want you to take a deep breath and say nothing for eight whole seconds.

While you’re pausing, your prospect is searching their brain for who you could be. It sounds like you know them — are you a client? A former coworker? A current one?

Establish rapport.

The call is already deviating from the standard cold call. Then you hit them with a question to establish some rapport. Your goal: Get ‘em talking and prove you’re familiar with them. A good question is topical and makes someone smile. If they seem receptive to chatting, ask them a follow-up question. Trust me, this always lightens the mood. (Unless your prospect is in a major hurry, in which case, you should get the point.)

Questions You Should Ask:

“Have you ever thought about finding a way to earn part-time income to supplement your job?”

“Do you keep your options open when it comes to earning income?”

What Are Your STRUGGLES

Hello Everyone This Is Michael The Traveling Trucker. Being on the road 5 days a week driving,2400 miles from Monday to Friday can be tough for me. I only have limited time on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Thursday and Friday are very hectic driving days.

I take my laptop, phone, and tablet with me so I can have access to the internet.

ROB GEHRING asked this question–How come we talk to people every day about nothing really and can’t talk to contacts that could put money in your pocket? Personally, I struggle with this. Is it the fear of NO? Fear of Yes? Don’t know what to say? How to get your point across as a professional? Do we believe in what we are doing? Do we set goals? Do we have an accountability partner to keep us on track?

I believe for me it is the UNCOMFORTABLE ZONE. That place of dread and torment. Not really. I just have not done enough phone calls to make it easier to talk to people.

We have scripts to use— but don’t use them. Coaches and mentors who lead and guide us, but really don’t follow. I really want to build a legacy and need a strong why. I found my WHY and the time has come for Michael to have his tires meet the road.

People want what we have to offer. People will follow or they won’t. Lets work with those who want it. I know it’s a numbers game. We must continue to advertise, blog, and share every day. JUST SHOW UP EVERY DAY. Do the best you can to make improvements on and in yourself.
