Being a trucker, I am quite familiar with the unknown. I get dispatched to places I have never been to before. Yes, I have my trucker GPS and yes it gets me to where I need to go, most of the time.

I have had a road closed and have had to find another way around, and the GPS is not helpful. It wants to put me on a car route. Does fear rise up or faith rise up?

Impossible, Possible, Attitude, Positive

Looking back is always perfect vision. It’s easy to look at where we have been and realize what choices we should have made or paths we should have taken.

It’s easy to miss the lessons of life that God is teaching us through constant challenges. Within the context of those challenges, we find valuable life lessons that must be learned.

So do you show up daily? Do you do your best for this day? Today is all you have, so let us DREAM BIG, TAKE ACTION and FOLLOW UP and FOLLOW THROUGH.

What is your biggest challenge? Mine is connecting to people. Being a driver, I have drive days that keep me driving all day and part of the night. I don’t get the opportunities as often as I like for my phone calls, texts and emails. I will do my best today. I will show up. I will make those calls.

Building a business is really a 2-5 year plan. You will have high’s and low’s. I see through observation of my leaders, they are consistent in all they do.

I start with my blog, Phone calls are next, with texts and emails second. I jump on the advertising wagon, shooting those arrows. I read and comment on different post, upvoting at every opportunity.

As we build our following, remember it’s all about PEOPLE. Be kind, lead with passion, love with a grateful spirit. Be willing to give your ALL. The reason I’m here is my mentors have shown such love, passion, and commitment to me. For that, I’m eternally grateful.

I’ve been studying lately how to get the right people to open my emails. I have to say some of the info was eye opening and thought provoking.

Let me ask this question, What is your open rate? When you track and split test, what are your results?

To get people to open your email, start with a benefit: People feel good when they know they will benefit from you, It will give people the incentive to open your email. Say something like: How to triple your social media following.

When you create CURIOSITY, people are really tempted to open your email. Write something like: What Does reading have to do with success or what to do if some falls down?

USE NUMBERS: Users understand what’s in store for them when they click an article. It’s about clarity, helping them to manage their expectations. Example, Why 90% of marketers are doing it wrong?

Borrow Credibility: People love to know what well-known people think, give advice, or talk about how to solve a problem.

Here are some things to meditate on:

Test Different Email Subjects, Testing Different Times and Days Of Send, Testing Different Email Frequencies, Testing Different Sender Emails, Testing Different Email First Lines.

Tease the value and benefits of opening and reading the rest of the email. Make them fearful of missing out, make it impossible for them to resist the urge to delve a little further.

Successful people, Millionaires, Billionaires have a strict code for their day. They set blocks of time for phone calls. They only do this one activity for that block of time.

They move on to the next activity, emails. Then go down the list, until they finish what they set out to do.

Do you set goals? Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly? Do you have a 5-year plan, 10-year plan? Do you do income-producing activities or just busywork?

This is my recommendation: Follow up, Stay positive, and Talk To The Right People. Make sure you ask qualifying questions, How much money on a monthly basis, do you want to earn? What would that amount do to your lifestyle? What type of budget do YOU have?

If people don’t have a budget or a small budget, it will be much harder to achieve the success they want. You can do it on a small budget, just plan it out in every detail, so you will begin to get the results you are looking for.

If people don’t have a budget or unwilling to get a budget- I know this sounds harsh, but move on. These people will drain your time and energy.

You’re sitting at home, in front of your computer. You have reached a point where you want to earn some additional income. At the bottom of the form, it says, if you don’t want to leave a number, place the number 5 in the box. This is where I don’t understand, why do people put a fake number in? If you don’t want the call back place the number 5 in the box. We respect your privacy. As someone building a business, this gives me false hope. When I see a number, I call it, then you hear, this phone number is no longer in service, mailbox full can’t except any new messages, or my favorite error 57, which means no number exists.

A funnel is the set of steps a visitor needs to go through before they can reach the conversion. Maybe you want them to make a purchase, sign up, or fill out a form. When someone does something you want them to do, it’s known as a conversion. The visitor converts from browsing to taking the action you want them to take.

Why is the set of steps to conversion called a “funnel”? Because at the beginning of the process, there are a lot of people who take the first step. Then, as the people continue along and take the next steps, some of them drop out, and the size of the crowd thins or narrows.

The top of the funnel is where everyone goes in. They see your lead capture page and fill out the form. The ones interested go on to the next step. They end up on your Thank You page. You need a new audience to have eyes on your funnel, daily. Keep track of how people move through your funnel. You aren’t limited to using your funnel strictly for signing up and/or purchasing. You can put funnels all over your website to see how visitors move through a specific website flow. Figure out what your goals are and what you want visitors to do on your site, and you can create a funnel for it. Once you have the data, you’ll be able to see where roadblocks are and optimize your funnel.
