Why is being positive and speaking positively to yourself so important? We are our own wrecking ball of self-destruction. We are hard on ourselves when we make mistakes.

Today’s exercise is all about being kind to yourself. You are the best you so talk it up. Treat yourself with respect. I’m a winner. I’m getting everything I need to be done today. Today I focus on just one thing and that’s speaking positively to myself.

Self-Talk Can Be Tricky

Thoughts are the most powerful manifesting tool we have. They created your reality, and they can change it too–all you need is a little reminder to keep them flowing in the right direction!

Habit Of Positive Self-Talk: Be Aware Of “Self-Thought.”It’s easy to get caught up in your thoughts and start worrying about everything that could potentially go wrong.

I found that one of the most mundane ways to start a day is with a few minutes of sitting in silence and not thinking. I know it’s hard, but give it a shot until you master it. Your Goal should be around 12 minutes.

Watch Your Language: Your words are powerful. Take a minute to think before speaking negatively. You might be surprised by the effects of what you say on those who hear them!

Keep it Real: When it comes to manifesting and the law of attraction, it’s important to be kinder and gentler with yourself. Rather than denying that the mistake happened, try looking at what you could have done differently in order to avoid repeating this same error again.

Enlist a Friend: Your closest friends and loved ones can give you a good idea of how effective your mindset is in achieving what you desire most.

Ask them to rate, on a scale one- to -ten (one being negative and ten being positive), the attitude or speech patterns about life from any given time period. The answer might surprise you!

Be A Friend

Be more positive to others and you will be a better person for yourself.

There are so many benefits to positive self-talk. Learning how to speak positively and encouraging words can help you achieve your manifesting goals in major ways, making it worth the effort!

Through books, we have a host of information that is being lost. Technology is useful but books still hold the greatest treasures of wisdom.

Here are some heroes of mine. John Bunyan, Fanny Crosby, Jim Elliot, Billy Graham, David Livingstone, Martin Luther, D.L. Moody, Samual Morris, John Newton, Charles Spurgeon, Corrie ten Boom, and Sojourner Truth.

These are men and women who touched a world lost without hope. They brought the love of GOD when the world needed a message. These people have written books that have lasted for 100’s of years.

The written word has the power to change minds and hearts. Deep within us lies the heart of a mighty warrior. Our message is still as strong as writers of years gone by.

TIME: It could be minutes or could be much longer than that. You will know when you find your WHY. Meditate on these things SLOWLY.

Buddies: Whether it’s your business partner, spouse, friend, or coach, you’ll need people to bounce your ideas off of and talk things through with. Identify people who will challenge you.

An open mind: You can’t decide what the outcome is going to be before you even start. Your outcome is determined by time, people, and hard work.

When you call your lead, start off by asking if you are speaking with(person name)—-This is (Your Name Here) and you recently filled out a form about making money from home. Do you have a few moments to talk?

Our main task here at GLN is to get people involved. Point them to the 7-minute video. Then ask if they are part of the Facebook and Telegraph rooms.

From there, they will get all the help they need, regardless of your experience. The GLN Team will work to “convert” your free member to a paid member!

KEEP PEOPLE MOVING FORWARD. Help keep them from going to the left or right away from their goal.

You should have your BackOffice script at hand. Everything will be at your fingertips. This makes you look professional.

Ask questions. Wait for their response.

If they answer no … Recommend they login, ask if they have time now.

If they answer yes … First things first, ask if they watch the video in the member’s area! Then ask if they have any questions about the program, did they start the 6 steps to setup their GLN system?

Pause to send the email which you have ready to send before you call!

Once you send them the email, verify that they received it
Once they say they have received it, tell them you can wait while they watch the video or you can call them back. Make sure you set a time to call them back and have them commit to that time.

Even more questions to ask. Do you have any experience with online programs like this one?

Do you have a budget for an online business? A monthly advertising budget?

The answer to these two questions will tell you volumes about your lead and whether or not you want to continue asking questions

Don’t overwhelm people with information overload at the beginning. Work your way into it slowly. Don’t be in a hurry, slow down. People are not sure who you are or why you are contacting them.

Introduce yourself so the lead knows you’re a friendly professional following up on their request for more information.

Identify your company to lend more legitimacy to the call, so the lead associates you with a credible professional brand.

Explain the reason for your call to remind leads what prompted them to fill out the form.

Set a timeline to reassure leads that you won’t take up more than a few minutes of their time, and then schedule a time as soon as they’re available to meet with you and discuss their options.

Let them understand you are busy with others and have a small window to help. Time is of the essence. The more time that goes by, people forget who you are and why you are contacting them again.

The better you understand and execute each of these four points, the more appointments you’ll set.

I have parts that resemble my sponsor’s business, but sorely lacking in others. I am in the process of forming habits that mirror my sponsor.

Am I promoting every day? Am I setting up solo ads on a regular basis? Am I Calling, texting, emailing my leads and prospects? Am I sending out a broadband message to my group under me?

Am I building my list with coop and solo ads? Am I teaching what I have learned?

Am I changing up my lead capture page? Thinking of different email messages?

Am I building my relationships with my people? Am I helping solve their pain problem?

When I look at my sponsor, Rob Gehring, he is active every single day from early to late. He is coaching, mentoring, building his list, contacting all his leads and prospects. He has his calendar filled. He does weekly webinars.

How To Train A Horse To JUMP?

So, how do you train a horse to jump? You start by putting the jumping bar on the ground. Have the horse walk over it over and over. It’s called TRAINING.

You raise the bar one foot off the ground. Get the horse to jump over it again and again. It’s called TRAINING.

You continue to raise the bar, higher and higher. It’s called TRAINING. Before you know it the horse is responding magnificently.

Most of the people online in our niche of affiliate marketing from CLB, TL2Ivm , and GLN know and trust Janet Legere. Her TRAINING is just like training a horse.

How To Make Phone Calls

11 cold calling tips to get prospects to stay on the line

Oh, the phone and the call. You know you must make it. What is going on in the mind of the person who picks it up when you begin to speak?

If you can get a prospect to answer the call, you’d better be sure that they don’t hang up or rush to get off of the line.

The challenge is keeping someone on the line. I have had people hang up on me after I introduce myself or ask why are you calling? What are you selling?

Stop right here a moment. Please remember, they gave you permission to call them when they filled out the form.

People are looking to make money so they have filled out dozens of forms. It’s not personal. Slow down and ask a few questions. They get dozens of sales calls.

Read this sentence SLOWLY. After you’ve introduced yourself, you should begin personalizing the call immediately. Call them by name. Ask if they have a few minutes right now to talk?

Call at the right time for your prospects. The research shows that most calls that last over 5 minutes occur between 3:00-5:00 pm on Tuesdays or Thursdays.

Perfect timing is important, and it doesn’t have to be hard. It’s about calling them when their interest is piqued.

Tracking leads and opportunities is important because you’ll know exactly which stage each prospect is at in your sales funnel.

Make a good impression. Read this and see the difference between asking or telling. It’s more effective to ask if you’re “talking with” the right person rather than asking if you’re “speaking to” the right person.

Tell a story (and ask questions)

If someone tells you they’re busy when you call them, consider that a red flag.

If they were really in a meeting, would they have answered a call from an unknown number? Probably not.

That’s why you have to prove your worth quickly, even if they claim to be busy. You only have about 10 seconds to show a prospect that you’re worth their time. A great way to do that is with personal stories that build rapport.

I was really busy as you are when I got the call. I didn’t think I needed what they were selling, even though I was looking to make some additional income online.

They asked me how much was I looking to earn? This is where I tell the caller, I’m a full-time trucker wanting to come off the road. Draw them in and ask them questions. Ask if they are employed or stay at home.

Make it all about them. Focus the conversation on your prospect for as long as you can first. People love to talk about themselves.

By giving your prospect the chance to talk, you’ll also be gaining more insider information about them.

You have to know what your prospect wants before anything else. That’s why it’s important to listen and only speak when necessary.

Listening is key to building great relationships. It builds the trust you need to get a prospect to commit to you.

Take your time and try not to be nervous. The people on the other end are way more nervous than you.

Follow up when needed and leave a voicemail.

When you follow up, your prospect might not be available. That’s why it’s important to leave an effective but brief voicemail.

Start out by telling them who is calling them, why you’re calling, and then end on a note that will trigger a quick response.
