Here is my short story: Full-time trucker. Building Business on the road. Putting in the time and effort every day. Showing up is half the battle, RIGHT?

I make calls with my hands free headset, text when I stop. Email on my laptop at the end of my driving day. I do my advertising through viral mailers and traffic exchanges most days. I follow through with someone everyday.

Putting in one on one time with my mentors, helps keep me focused. I hear you saying,” THAT’S A LOT OF WORK”? If you want your lifestyle to change, change your mindset about life. The UNIVERSE is at your command. Go COMMAND IT.

How To Cross The Great Barrier Reef?

Just sit right back and hear a tale, a tale of a faithful trip…… I just had to do that. Hello Everyone Michael The Traveling Trucker. Today’s wild adventure is all about everything.

We all have barriers to cross. Family, business, work, school, church. It’s learning from those who go before us that defines a good portion of where we go, how we get there, and our final outcome.

For me, DEAR READER, after a 1 year progression of moving forward even when you don’t see any activity in your marketing, it PAID OFF.

Where do I begin? Woke up this morning to a $600 commission. Yes, My 1st in a long line to come. You have to start from somewhere. I have been bouncing off my seat all day. I hope you see this BIG SMILE.

Chain, Broken, Broken Chain, Link, Break

I have plenty of room for you to join me on this journey called LIFE. Let us join forces and kick collective butt.

Month after month, I invest in myself. Books I read. Solo Ads I buy to build my list. Coop leads that are bringing value each time with around 100 clicks. I am seeing growth.

I am talking to my prospects with, phone calls, texts, and emails. Here is my latest barrier crossing. One of my leads is from Quebec, Canada. I called her and she answered in French. I told her who I was and why I was calling.

Her reply was, NO ENGLISH NO MONEY. I said thank you and hung up. I went to the GLN telegraph room and asked: How do we break the language barrier when people from Canada who speak French fill out a form but don’t speak English?

To my surprise, Joe Gallegos answered me with: Download a translator and use it to chat or text with them. He said: I did that when I was in an Italian group.

I took his advice and downloaded an English to French translator. I went to the app typed my message in English, pushed the translate button and instant French text. I copied and pasted and sent it.

Within 15 seconds, I received a French text back which I copied and pasted back into the translator, and was very surprised. She is actually looking for a business like this. She was as excited as I was by getting a reply from me in French.

Now we are talking through the translator and making great progress. I believe we will see another success story from Canada by crossing the barrier reef.

This is life changing for this trucker. Learning and earning is a great combination. If this 61 year old trucker can do it, anyone can.

What Is Your Burning Desire?

Cooking is always at the top of the list. I am quite enthralled when in the kitchen. I have quite a collection of gadgets and I have a memory for remembering recipes after the first time I make them.

Come over for my Italian feast. I make my marinara sauce from fresh tomatoes, and all the fresh herbs. Everyone here likes my sauce thick. When complete, my stirring spoon stands straight up.

Traveling the roads as Michael the Traveling Trucker. I was given the wonderful responsibility of T.R.A.C.K. Ministries. Sharing the gospel of Jesus with all I come into contact with. This has been the true joy of sharing life with others.

Worship and praise songs are always on these lips. Singing brings a sense of closeness between me and my maker God. There are people all around the world that I pray for. When I hear of a need, I am called to help. Sometimes it’s money and others it’s prayer.

Hello Everyone, Michael The Traveling Trucker. I’m so glad you come to visit. Can you sit a spell? So how’s your mama and them?

I forgot to tell you READER, this is southern style. Would you like some sweet tea? Can you stay for supper?

Thank you for asking about the den. Since we put in the fireplace, it can warm the den, kitchen, and dining room with a roaring fire.

When they built the add-on, no heat so we had to change that. Now walk to the kitchen door which leads downstairs to the larger den. Pick out your favorite rocker or recliner and relax.

How long you here for? Know you traveled a fer piece. Planning to see some of the sites, are ya? Stone Mountain will have the laser show every night. It’s a sight to see. Each figure displayed on the side of the mountain is 800 feet tall. The music goes so well with the storyline, which ends with fireworks.

The High Museum of Arts downtown will keep your mind occupied for hours. They have plenty of kid activities.

Plenty of places to eat. The beach from here is 4 hours down, Georgia or South Carolina. 6 hours to Florida.

Go downtown an see the Aquarium, my wife’s favorite spot. I make sure to bring her favorite lawn chair. It’s an all day event for her.

Do you like shopping? We have some of the best malls anywhere. The mall of Ga. is over a mile of walking. We have Phipps plaza, Lenox square, North point mall to name a few.

What would a visit be without BBQ and corn bread. The Brunswick stew is to die for. Have you tried the fried catfish nuggets?

When’s the last time you went bowling? All the lanes are open, so pick out your ball weight and let’s roll a few. What’s your best game ever? Mine was a 236.

If you want, we can sit on the front porch and watch the hummingbirds feed. We fix the sugar water for them. We also have a bee farm and watching them work makes me tired.

Want to feed the squirrels, we have a yard full, plus chip monks galore. Sitting in the shade is never a problem. 6 water oak trees provide shade for the whole house. Front, back, and sides. 1.68acres all fenced in. We have a border collie, Lady Grace, who is a speeding bullet. Watch out squirrels.

The guest room is waiting for you. The queen size bed is very comfortable. Fresh sheets and the ceiling fan swirling slowly to keep you cool.

Breakfast will be eggs of your choice, bacon, bacon, bacon, and more bacon, grits( made with a touch of milk for creaminess), and toast. Did I say BACON? Yes, we love bacon, so prepare for the feast to begin.

If you are a book reader, we have a vast collection for your pleasure, We have Netflix, Hulu, and Disney for your watching extravaganza. I heard you like Murdock Mysteries, as we do.

If you like English 1820’s, Bridgerton is an excellent series about high court society.

Sleep well and we’ll see you in the morning.

Family Miracles

Hello everyone, Michael The Traveling Trucker, with exciting NEWS. FAMILY MIRACLES are happening all around us. Are your eyes open for them?

What exactly am I asking you to look for, you may say. Today Janet had her granddaughter with her on the call. Janet spends a lot of time living life, sharing life with her and Don’s family.

I saw geese and their babies proudly walking around this morning. Remember when you had Your 1st child?

Some of us have strained family relations, some talk but only every once in awhile, and some exube love, happiness and a real sense of camaraderie.

Do you have a extended family where you work, at church, social club? Are you the wall flower or front and center? Do you make others feel welcome, glad they are here or shy, not speaking unless spoken to?

I invite you to my family world. Come sit in the jump seat as we travel the roads from state to state. We, you, and I left on Monday from Elberton, Ga, and drove to Raphine, Va. took our break. Got up early, yes I am a real hard-core early bird

We drove to Rocky Hill Ct. for our delivery at 2am. I know, that’s way to early so I put you to bed, closing the curtains and putting the air on for you.

While you slept, I finished delivering and then drove to Robbinsville, NJ, which is 126 miles away for a pickup. You slept through the whole thing, that’s ok you are not a trucker.

As we were leaving you popped your head out and wished me a great day. I showed you my pictures of the geese and their babies. Your smile was so broad.

We then drove to Harrisburg, Pa. for an 8 pm delivery. I showed you the Wildwood walking trail across the street. You said you needed to stretch your legs so off you went.

I jumped in the bunk for a nap. Very refreshing by the way. You said you thoroughly enjoyed your walk, seeing amazing sites from frogs to swans to deer. Nature showing off, as she does just for you.

Delivery time is over, on to Toughkenamon, Pa which is 72 miles from here for tomorrow’s pick-up of mushrooms. We will leave from there in the afternoon, on our way to Greensboro, NC for our 6 am delivery on Friday. Then running hard back to Ga for 4 deliveries, 3 on Friday, 1 on Saturday morning at 5:15, ending in Suwanee, Ga.

We should be back at the shop by 7 am. I hope you enjoyed our time together. I know you got to see quite a lot of scenery. I pray it blessed you. Ok, drive home safe, until we decide to do it again. I say it with my heart, I loved having you here.

When you need a scenery break, come jump in the seat again. I’ll give you a CB handle and let you talk to my driving buddies.

Wow, what amazing time we had. I will have this on my brain video play book, for years to come. I will brag about our time together.

WHAT IS YOUR MINISTRY?

Hello Everyone, Michael The Traveling Trucker.

I love what I do. Driving a big rig for so long is what I know, what I love, and the pay has supported my family for 27 years.

So what is MINISRTY? A person or thing through which something is accomplished. This is a broad statement. It could refer to government, business, churches, or individuals. Each has a mission they want to accomplish. A statement made for a certain purpose- like salvation.

I also have the privilege of talking to people through my CB ministry. T.R.A.C.K.

Truckers Readily Advancing Christ’s Kingdom. I believe we all have a message we are passionate about. Something you can’t wait to share.

I had the opportunity to talk with a man in Elberton, Ga about Jesus. Interestingly, the driver next to me talked to the man after me. He said I was doing my job by spreading the gospel of Jesus.

That made me feel good. I do it because of where I came from and the men who took time for me. My life was a mess and they knew it. They cared for me when I didn’t or couldn’t care for me. I am so grateful for the GOD of salvation in Michael’s life.

Sharing Jesus is ETERNAL. It can and will transform your life when you begin to change your mindset about GOD. Whether or not you believe there is a GOD, He is real and watching over you. He has your best interest at heart. He is a Father like no other.

Buried Alive?

Hello Everyone, Michael The Traveling Trucker. I began my online journey 5 years ago. I knew very little about business. The internet was for fun, looking up facts, watching You tube videos, searching for things to buy.

I saw an Affiliate marketing business-CLB which I put on my computer. Through the hustle and bustle of life, I totally forgot all about this business.

I looked at program after program. I tried a few not knowing what was really expected of me. I thought these programs were dead. It had no pulse, no heartbeat, so I buried these programs alive.

It was my lack of commitment, resources, and not understanding the program that I QUIT.

I heard my mountain calling me to come FORWARD. There is life in the mountains, freshness, peace and tranquility. All that I needed was just a few steps away.

For me, remaining in the past, I saw no future. The Cloud of GOD was moving and I didn’t follow, missing the greatness of GOD.

By shear chance, I was looking through the files on my computer and saw this CLB program. I opened it. Read it carefully and really like what I saw.

I contacted the owner. We talked several times and I decided to upgrade the program. She had a special going at the time, which really worked for me.

I am just getting started and there is sunshine on the horizon, it’s shining bright upon my life. I’m making headway building my list. Sharing this opportunity and a number of others opportunities, all the while bringing new life into this business of mine.

People are my business. I care for those put into my care. I share with them what I have learned so far. I say come closer for that hug, lean in for the ATTA boy/girl. Open up your heart to receive the love that you desire and I will pour it out just for YOU.

I tell myself, touch the world. It needs and wants love, mercy, grace, and MOST OF ALL LIFE. So I bring on my love, bring on my touch, bring on my heart.

I know what I’m good at and what I’m not. I’m making a stand for PEOPLE. All people. I don’t care what your background is, together let’s push FORWARD.

Let me stand with you on your journey, I’ll walk it with you and with all your friends and family.

I am a part of the hope people long for. I don’t have to figure it all out, I must just GO FORWARD. We can learn as we go, seeing new things, hearing new sounds, WHAT SAY, YOU?

Hello Everyone, Michael The Traveling Trucker. Learning to relax is not as easy as it sounds. We as a culture have way to many distractions.

Finding your quiet place can be challenging. I’m glad I have my BIG RIG. I can close the curtains from the outside world, sit on my bunk and get quiet before the LORD.

There is real POWER in PEACE. Being at peace with yourself and those around you should be a top priority. When you are angry, mad, upset, your thinking takes you on the negative roadway of destruction.

Repeat after me: I have confidence, I have conviction, I have courage. Today I take my stand to walk in peace, speak words of peace, and think peaceful things

I will open my tool box of motivation videos, books and pod casts. I can’t afford the negative, the price is too high and all I get is an upset stomach.

Never let fear get a hold of you. You are strong, you are powerful, and you have the UNIVERSE at your command. SPEAK WORDS OF LIFE.

Leaving Your Mark

Hello Everyone, Michael The Traveling Trucker. I was thinking about the ways we leave our “MARK” on people around us.

I was complaining to God, can you really hear me? Do you really understand? I got an instant text from a Chaplain Friend of mine from Breezewood, Pa, saying he was praying for me and my family.

Tears rolled down my cheeks. I knew right then and there God was listening and cares for me. Today I offer gratitude, thankfulness, and a heart full of LOVE.

I leave my mark on my sweet bride, by offering funny emojis throughout the day to let her know how special she is in my life. Telling and showing Regina my love for her by acts of service. That’s my love language to her.

I do special things for my two girls. I always want them to be daddy’s girls. Driving to my daughter’s work to put her tag sticker on her car because she forgot and was driving with a expired tag.

People I’m in business with, I leave my blog, share my ideas, and show respect and love for my personal leaders.

I share the best advice with those who come behind me. Things I learn from the leaders-Like follow-up, how to talk to people, how to set up ads, Why we follow the system to the letter.

Show your BIG SMILE every day. Find something to compliment them on. Be the person, others love being around. We all know that one person who people flock to. Become that PERSON.

Have you ever thought about Writing a book, Writing a song, A love poem? Creating a tee shirt, coffee mug, poster…… There are so many ways to leave your mark.

Be a trusted friend. Mother, Father, Sister, Brother, Aunt, Uncle. Impart your wisdom into the hearts of people.

LONELINESS?

Hello Everyone, Michael The Traveling Trucker with a message I’m way to familiar with: LONELINESS.

Being on the road, I don’t get to talk to too many people. My family is sometimes 500 to a 1000 miles away. They are at work, so no phone calls.

I do have one trucker friend I call and we talk while driving. He has turned out to be a GOD send.

The hurt of feeling alone isn’t new to our day. Indeed, the pain of isolation echoes off the pages of the ancient book of Ecclesiastes. The book captures the sorrows of those who seem to lack any meaningful relationships.

You can acquire great wealth and yet experience no value from it because there’s no one to share it with. There is TRUE BEAUTY in companionship.

Friends help you accomplish more than you could achieve on your own.

LET ME SAY THIS: Your LIST of people is way more than money. Building friendships is a value that will last a lifetime. PEOPLE MATTER in life and business. ALWAYS place the highest value on PEOPLE.

Friends can provide protection in difficult situations, partners bring comfort, companions help in times of need.

To have a friend, you must be a friend. To have love, you must give love. People want and need to be around others who value them for who they are, not what they can do for you.

loneliness is a significant struggle-God created us to offer and receive the BENEFITS of friendship and community. If you’re feeling alone, My prayer for you is God would help you form meaningful connections with others.

Our businesses give us the platform to touch the lives of so many people. We can tough their hearts, minds and finances.
