I find myself, Michael The Traveling Trucker among thinkers, teachers, speakers, givers, lovers of some of the world’s greatest influencers.

Through books, we have a host of information that is being lost. Technology is useful but books still hold the greatest treasures of wisdom.

Here are some heroes of mine. John Bunyan, Fanny Crosby, Jim Elliot, Billy Graham, David Livingstone, Martin Luther, D.L. Moody, Samual Morris, John Newton, Charles Spurgeon, Corrie ten Boom, and Sojourner Truth.

These are men and women who touched a world lost without hope. They brought the love of GOD when the world needed a message. These people have written books that have lasted for 100’s of years.

The written word has the power to change minds and hearts. Deep within us lies the heart of a mighty warrior. Our message is still as strong as writers of years gone by.

I have always been a traveler. Sometimes I think myself as a vagabon. I share my story of being a drug addict and alcoholic. My story of overcoming both by the power of GOD and a wife who dearly loves me.

Raising a family while being on the road. Seeing my daughter grow into beautiful women. Sharing good and bad times with my sweet bride.

The last 8 days have been packed with pickups and deliveries. No time for sharing life on the COMPUTER.

Finally got back home Saturday so I can share life with my beautiful bride and, Yes -YOU DEAR READER.

What is it about telling a GOOD story that people love? What is your favorite story?

Here is a little of my life. My driving career started in 1994 and it was by pure accident. A drummer from my church bought a truck. He was gone for a few weeks. When he got back I asked where he was and he told me about buying a truck.

I made the statement,” I always thought about driving a semi-truck”. He got this glowing look on his face and a twinkle in his eye.” Really”, he replied. I need a Christian person who will take care of my truck. I did a road test the next day. I drove from Georgia to California for 3 months on a learner’s permit and a lead driver.

I got back and got my CDL license. That has been 27 years of driving with over 3 Million miles under my belt. Been around the world a few times. Seen a lot of beautiful country. I have been to all 48 states (continental) plus Canada.

My story takes a turn into mu business practices as I’m building an online business. I invite people all over the country to join me. My best invite was a man I met in Florida. His name was Sumeet Mall from Canada.

I built a strong relationship with him before I shared this business. Once I shared, he and his wife tonya decided to join.

I shared countless hours on the phone talking about family, friends, and life. Because he is 20 years younger, I got to share experience , strength, and hope.

I believe he will be a strong leader. He loves what he does and is willing to learn more.

Are You Carrying The Sack?

Wonderful Sunday To all from Michael The Traveling Trucker. Today’s insight is into your personal world. I look at the mirror first and see my own reflection.

I see my own sack. I carried my sack for years so I know from personal experience.

You have one. A sack. A burlap sack. Probably aren’t even aware of it, may not have been told about it. Could be your don’t even remember it, but it was given to you.

A sack. An itchy, scratchy burlap sack. The sack carry’s the stones. All shapes and sizes, All unwanted. You didn’t request them. You didn’t seek them, but you were given them.

Don’t remember? Some were rocks of rejection. The try outs that you didn’t make the team or got the part in the play. They said you weren’t good enough. You thought you were but they said NO.

You don’t live long before you get a collection of stones. Make a poor grade, a bad choice, you make a mess. Get called a few names. Get mocked. Get abused.

And the stones don’t stop with adolescences. And so the sack gets heavy.

Look into the sack and you will see other stones of regret. Regret for the time you lost your temper, lost control, lost your pride, lost your priorities, and even regret the hour you lost your innocence.

Time goes on and the sack gets heavy. Way to heavy. That’s why people look so miserable. How do you have dreams for a future when all your energy is required to shoulder the past?

Today I take you by the hand and lead you to the KINDEST verse in the BIBLE. Matthew 11:28-29 ” Come to me, all of you who are tired and have heavy loads, and I will give you rest. Accept my teachings and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in spirit, and you will find rest for your lives. The teaching I ask you to accept is easy; the load I give you to carry is light”.

You have tried so many things to release the heartache, the burden of guilt, the hate, the shame. Release them all to God. It won’t be easy, I know from my past.

I was so weighed down with my own sack. I walked with my head down. I didn’t look into peoples faces, for I knew they could see the real me. I thought I was a total failure and walked in that burden for more than 30 years.

God set me FREE. I am so thankful He choose me. Today I strongly believe and share God with anyone who will listen to the GOOD NEWS.

Each day choose to look in the mirror and say” I am BEAUTIFUL, well LOVED, and I have a great future ahead of me”.

Look at that radiant smile. Your heart beats with joy, love, and excitement once again. You begin the sing, laugh, and tell the world,” I’m here to stay and I refuse your junk”.

Today I offer you Friendship, Hope, Love, and Acceptance. Come walk this journey with me. As a team, we can carry each other’s burdens which makes carrying the sack liter.

I hope you see how valuable you really are. There is just one of you. There will never be another you. Walk with your head up, shoulders back, pep in your step.

I make a pick up every Thursday in Toughkenamon, Pa for mushrooms to deliver back in Georgia. I have made a great friend, Anthony. I have built this relationship for the last year. I got to CF Logistics early yesterday so called Anthony. He came and picked me up. Last night I met his wife and shared a meal. Got to share life with this precious couple. What a blessing.

THIS IS FOR YOU, READER.

Today is your victory day, your breakthrough day, you rise up and PROCLAIM: Today I’m free and moving through my goals with passion and exuberance.

You speak out to the UNIVERSE, “I’m a success and will never look back in doubt or fear”.

Today you are becoming an affirmative leader: you put other people first.

Affiliative leaders lavish a lot of praise. Look at our leaders. People like Janet, Jared and Rob are lavish speaking leaders. They give of themselves to speak words of praise, letting people know how valuable they are and the work they are doing is on track for success.

At their core, affiliative leaders are nurturing. They believe and promote Tighter-Knit Teams. Working with those who are action takers, ask lots of questions, implement recommendations and drive their businesses forward each day.

This is YOU, reader. This is who you are becoming. I see the work you are putting in. I see the time and effort, and the results are starting to show. I applaud you, keep it up, YOU GOT THIS.

Keep an Eye on Performance. Track everything you do. KEEP A JOURNAL. You can look back and see what is working and correct what is not getting the best results .

Build trust and improve leadership communication. Talking , educating and generally getting to know your people is a valuable asset. People need to know you really care about them and their problems.

People need people. Yes we can do a lot on our own, at the end of the day it’s nice to share with another human what’s going on in our lives. Have you shared a cup of coffee or glass of wine with anyone lately? Shared a meal? Recommended a good book, then talked about what you read?

As I was walking around the city of Cecil county MD and praying for the people who live here, God had a message for me.

Is Life depleting you? I said no, Lord. Is life depleting those around you? I said, I really don’t know, Lord.

Look around He said. AND I DID. My heart sank to my feet.

Here is a message from one of my leads from Canada. I asked him if he was still looking to make money online?

His reply was, I need $1500 asap LIKE THIS WEEK TO OPERATE, our Lil girl who’s very sick, so can you lend me those then ??? Those were his exact words and spelling. I had to reply, NO Sir, sorry.

As I walk around and drive around the country, seeing people of all ages and nationality, I see the suffering. I see life depleting from the hearts and will and spirit of the people.

I see the homeless all across the USA in every major city. I see people holding signs, need help.

Hardworking people need just as much help. Drowning in a sea of debt, credit cards, mortgage, car payments. We, as a society love to pay payments based on what we can afford from our monthly paychecks.

What Is Your Burning Desire?

Cooking is always at the top of the list. I am quite enthralled when in the kitchen. I have quite a collection of gadgets and I have a memory for remembering recipes after the first time I make them.

Come over for my Italian feast. I make my marinara sauce from fresh tomatoes, and all the fresh herbs. Everyone here likes my sauce thick. When complete, my stirring spoon stands straight up.

Traveling the roads as Michael the Traveling Trucker. I was given the wonderful responsibility of T.R.A.C.K. Ministries. Sharing the gospel of Jesus with all I come into contact with. This has been the true joy of sharing life with others.

Worship and praise songs are always on these lips. Singing brings a sense of closeness between me and my maker God. There are people all around the world that I pray for. When I hear of a need, I am called to help. Sometimes it’s money and others it’s prayer.

Hello Everyone, Michael The Traveling Trucker. I’m so glad you come to visit. Can you sit a spell? So how’s your mama and them?

I forgot to tell you READER, this is southern style. Would you like some sweet tea? Can you stay for supper?

Thank you for asking about the den. Since we put in the fireplace, it can warm the den, kitchen, and dining room with a roaring fire.

When they built the add-on, no heat so we had to change that. Now walk to the kitchen door which leads downstairs to the larger den. Pick out your favorite rocker or recliner and relax.

How long you here for? Know you traveled a fer piece. Planning to see some of the sites, are ya? Stone Mountain will have the laser show every night. It’s a sight to see. Each figure displayed on the side of the mountain is 800 feet tall. The music goes so well with the storyline, which ends with fireworks.

The High Museum of Arts downtown will keep your mind occupied for hours. They have plenty of kid activities.

Plenty of places to eat. The beach from here is 4 hours down, Georgia or South Carolina. 6 hours to Florida.

Go downtown an see the Aquarium, my wife’s favorite spot. I make sure to bring her favorite lawn chair. It’s an all day event for her.

Do you like shopping? We have some of the best malls anywhere. The mall of Ga. is over a mile of walking. We have Phipps plaza, Lenox square, North point mall to name a few.

What would a visit be without BBQ and corn bread. The Brunswick stew is to die for. Have you tried the fried catfish nuggets?

When’s the last time you went bowling? All the lanes are open, so pick out your ball weight and let’s roll a few. What’s your best game ever? Mine was a 236.

If you want, we can sit on the front porch and watch the hummingbirds feed. We fix the sugar water for them. We also have a bee farm and watching them work makes me tired.

Want to feed the squirrels, we have a yard full, plus chip monks galore. Sitting in the shade is never a problem. 6 water oak trees provide shade for the whole house. Front, back, and sides. 1.68acres all fenced in. We have a border collie, Lady Grace, who is a speeding bullet. Watch out squirrels.

The guest room is waiting for you. The queen size bed is very comfortable. Fresh sheets and the ceiling fan swirling slowly to keep you cool.

Breakfast will be eggs of your choice, bacon, bacon, bacon, and more bacon, grits( made with a touch of milk for creaminess), and toast. Did I say BACON? Yes, we love bacon, so prepare for the feast to begin.

If you are a book reader, we have a vast collection for your pleasure, We have Netflix, Hulu, and Disney for your watching extravaganza. I heard you like Murdock Mysteries, as we do.

If you like English 1820’s, Bridgerton is an excellent series about high court society.

Sleep well and we’ll see you in the morning.

Family Miracles

Hello everyone, Michael The Traveling Trucker, with exciting NEWS. FAMILY MIRACLES are happening all around us. Are your eyes open for them?

What exactly am I asking you to look for, you may say. Today Janet had her granddaughter with her on the call. Janet spends a lot of time living life, sharing life with her and Don’s family.

I saw geese and their babies proudly walking around this morning. Remember when you had Your 1st child?

Some of us have strained family relations, some talk but only every once in awhile, and some exube love, happiness and a real sense of camaraderie.

Do you have a extended family where you work, at church, social club? Are you the wall flower or front and center? Do you make others feel welcome, glad they are here or shy, not speaking unless spoken to?

I invite you to my family world. Come sit in the jump seat as we travel the roads from state to state. We, you, and I left on Monday from Elberton, Ga, and drove to Raphine, Va. took our break. Got up early, yes I am a real hard-core early bird

We drove to Rocky Hill Ct. for our delivery at 2am. I know, that’s way to early so I put you to bed, closing the curtains and putting the air on for you.

While you slept, I finished delivering and then drove to Robbinsville, NJ, which is 126 miles away for a pickup. You slept through the whole thing, that’s ok you are not a trucker.

As we were leaving you popped your head out and wished me a great day. I showed you my pictures of the geese and their babies. Your smile was so broad.

We then drove to Harrisburg, Pa. for an 8 pm delivery. I showed you the Wildwood walking trail across the street. You said you needed to stretch your legs so off you went.

I jumped in the bunk for a nap. Very refreshing by the way. You said you thoroughly enjoyed your walk, seeing amazing sites from frogs to swans to deer. Nature showing off, as she does just for you.

Delivery time is over, on to Toughkenamon, Pa which is 72 miles from here for tomorrow’s pick-up of mushrooms. We will leave from there in the afternoon, on our way to Greensboro, NC for our 6 am delivery on Friday. Then running hard back to Ga for 4 deliveries, 3 on Friday, 1 on Saturday morning at 5:15, ending in Suwanee, Ga.

We should be back at the shop by 7 am. I hope you enjoyed our time together. I know you got to see quite a lot of scenery. I pray it blessed you. Ok, drive home safe, until we decide to do it again. I say it with my heart, I loved having you here.

Wow, what amazing time we had. I will have this on my brain video play book, for years to come. I will brag about our time together.

Buried Alive?

Hello Everyone, Michael The Traveling Trucker. I began my online journey 5 years ago. I knew very little about business. The internet was for fun, looking up facts, watching You tube videos, searching for things to buy.

I saw an Affiliate marketing business-CLB which I put on my computer. Through the hustle and bustle of life, I totally forgot all about this business.

I looked at program after program. I tried a few not knowing what was really expected of me. I thought these programs were dead. It had no pulse, no heartbeat, so I buried these programs alive.

It was my lack of commitment, resources, and not understanding the program that I QUIT.

I heard my mountain calling me to come FORWARD. There is life in the mountains, freshness, peace and tranquility. All that I needed was just a few steps away.

For me, remaining in the past, I saw no future. The Cloud of GOD was moving and I didn’t follow, missing the greatness of GOD.

By shear chance, I was looking through the files on my computer and saw this CLB program. I opened it. Read it carefully and really like what I saw.

I contacted the owner. We talked several times and I decided to upgrade the program. She had a special going at the time, which really worked for me.

I am just getting started and there is sunshine on the horizon, it’s shining bright upon my life. I’m making headway building my list. Sharing this opportunity and a number of others opportunities, all the while bringing new life into this business of mine.

If you were like me, seeing nothing going on in your business, thinking it was dead when it was really in a COMA. There was life just below the surface, but the vital signs were missed. TIME FOR THE FUNERAL. R.I.P. was my reply.

I tell myself don’t let the dust settle on my journey. Let the whirlwind blow across my life, making my business billow out from all sides.

Do I want success, greatness, accolades? Yes I do. I have found my life is UP TO ME. Yes, There can be people who help, guide, mentor, but if I don’t take action nothing will happen.

People are my business. I care for those put into my care. I share with them what I have learned so far. I say come closer for that hug, lean in for the ATTA boy/girl. Open up your heart to receive the love that you desire and I will pour it out just for YOU.

I tell myself, touch the world. It needs and wants love, mercy, grace, and MOST OF ALL LIFE. So I bring on my love, bring on my touch, bring on my heart.

I know what I’m good at and what I’m not. I’m making a stand for PEOPLE. All people. I don’t care what your background is, together let’s push FORWARD.

Let me stand with you on your journey, I’ll walk it with you and with all your friends and family.

I am a part of the hope people long for. I don’t have to figure it all out, I must just GO FORWARD. We can learn as we go, seeing new things, hearing new sounds, WHAT SAY, YOU?
